Is MN8 Skincare natural?
Yes — all of our formulations are 100% natural. That means no synthetic fragrances, no harsh chemicals, and no GMO ingredients — ever.Our key active botanicals are wild-harvested from native New Zealand bush, while most are certified organic you can rest assured the ones that aren't are completely free from sprays or synthetic input — as organic as it gets.Even though our regenerative mānuka plantation is not yet certified organic we can confidently guarantee it’s 100% spray-free and farmed using organic principles from the ground up and have the scientific test results to prove it.
Mānuka Honey x Mānuka Oil x Mānuka Extract?
They come from the same plant, but they’re not created equal.
• Mānuka Honey is made from the flower’s nectar. It’s antibacterial and soothing but low in actives once diluted in skincare.
• Mānuka Oil is steam-distilled from the leaves. It contains a good level of triketones — natural compounds up to 50x more antimicrobial than honey. Has a pungent scent which is why it hasn’t taken off in premium skincare.
• Mānuka Extract (like our MN8 Gold Extract™) is CO₂-extracted at low temperatures to retain the full spectrum of skin-active compounds — exceptionally high in triketones, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatories and over 100x more antimicrobial than honey— in a highly bioavailable form. It’s the most potent and complete option for skin regeneration and due to the delicate scent molecules remaining in tact the scent is pleasant: green, fresh and grounding.
